Delta County Online Inmate Search
Delta County runs an online inmate search at jail.deltacountymi.org. This is a free tool that anyone can use. It does not require an account or login.
Enter the person's last name to start. You can add a first name, date of birth, or booking number to narrow results. The system returns a list of matching inmates with their booking number, full name, charges, bond amount, and intake date. Mugshots are posted for most bookings. This makes Delta County one of the more transparent jurisdictions in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for recent booking data.
The online search covers current inmates. For people who have already been released, you may not find them in the active roster. In that case, a FOIA request is the way to go. Call the corrections division at 906-786-3633 if you need help figuring out which method to use for your specific search.
